Comments? Concerns? E-mail Me.	THE PLANET SR388 Samus is charged with the destruction of all Metroids existing on the planet SR388. The underworld of the planet SR388 is a complex maze shape. The underworld of SR388 has many different areas. The tunnels between each area are filled with a dangerous liquid that will deplete Samus of her energy. When an earthquake occurs, the liquid may drain away or fill in areas of the tunnels. Samus must learn to work around it. Some areas in the caverns appear to be ruins of an ancient civilization. There are many hidden paths and pitfalls. Metroids are hiding in the dome-like caverns, corridors and tunnels. Additionally, a number of strange life forms live in the underworld that will attempt to prevent you from completing the mission. According to the report sent by the Galactic Federation Special Squadron the only effect way to destroy a Metroid is by using missiles. When the Metroid molts it undergoes a metamorphosis. Each time a Metroid changes its shape, it gets stronger and more powerful. Biologic Space Labs Docking Bays: This is where Samus first enters the space station. Her ship is located here. Main Deck: This area contains elevator access, storage, etc. Sector 1 (SRX): This sector reproduces the environment of planet SR388. Sector 2 (TRO): This sector is used to research creatures living in humid habitats. Sector 3 (PYR): This sector is used to research creatures living in extremely hot habitats. Sector 4 (AQA): Sector 4 is used to research marine creatures. Sector 5 (ARC): This sector is used to research creatures living in extremely cold habitats. Sector 6 (NOC): This sector is used to research nocturnal creatures. THE PLANET ZEBES Mass: 4.8 trillion teratons. Profile: Planet's crust is primarily Urthic ore, making it ideal for subterranean construction. A class XIX planet, Zebes is inhospitable to most bioforms. The world was considered unremarkable until it became a base for Space Pirate forces. STARSHIP: The Starship acts as Samus' base. CRATERIA: Crateria is the surface area of Planet Zebes. It is under a constant deluge of acid rain. BRINSTAR: The jungle area of Zebes is a maze of heavy foliage. TOURIAN: Tourian is the control center for the Zebesian space pirates and the Mother Brain. The original Tourian was located just below the surface. After Samus Aran annihilated the forces of Zebes the first time, this new Tourian was built in a more secure area. 1 WRECKED SHIP: Long ago astronauts from an ancient civilization crash landed on Zebes. This is what remains of their ship. MARIDIA: The water world of Zebes is full of killer crustaceans and fierce fish. NORFAIR: Norfair is deep below the surface of Zebes. The lava and heat prove to be too much for unprotected visitors. The Planet Tallon IV Mass: 5.1 trillion teratons. Profile: Ecosystem studies indicate that Tallon IV was a biological paradise prior to the impact of an extraterrestrial object. What remains of the biosphere is slowly fading due to exposure to Phazon radiation. At current rate of decay, Tallon IV will be a barren Class XIII wasteland in approximately 25 years.
